Artconnect Berlin presents Community Clash!

Community Clash is a bimonthly group art exhibition featuring a selection of Berlin-based artists and a live musical performance within the Artconnect Berlin network.

Artconnect Berlin is a free online and offline networking platform for creatives and a creative agency, that was first launched in the summer of 2011.

Together with Frühperle, Artconnect Berlin is pleased to present the following artist lineup for Thursday, January, 30th.

Ray Mann
Indie soul musician & visual artist Ray Mann has supported Al Green, Tori Amos, Jamie Lidell, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Lauryn Hill, Aloe Blacc, Roy Ayers and many more. Ray was born to Egyptian parents, was raised in Sydney, and is based in Berlin.

Addison Karl
Karl has travelled the world and has for now taken residence in Berlin. His overarching themes are people and the spaces they occupy and interact with. As an artist he focuses on pieces which work to become part of public space rather than interrupt it.

Frank Dyballa
Frank is a visual artist currently based in Berlin. His themes are images of home, adventure and shelter. Many of Frank’s painting are landscapes, rather abstract, with a number harking back to the places he has travelled.

Katrin Hagen aka Mischief Champion
Mischief Champion is the working name of Berlin based artist Katrin Hagen originating from South Africa via New Zeland. In her own words: My drawings tend to poke fun at life’s shortcomings and awkward moments, the moments we’d sometimes prefer to forget.

Cyril Vouilloz, aka RYLSEE, is a Visual Artist originally from Geneva Switzerland and currently living in Berlin. With a background in Typography, design and mural painting, he is obsessed with words and hand-drawn type compositions.

Johannes Mundinger
Hidden in forgotten places across the City, Johannes Mundinger‘s artworks are found mainly by accident. Colourful faces, fantastic figures and wall-paintings melted totally into decaying facades, create anxiety in dark urban corners.
